WatchFolder does not depend on Starmap Pro or Map Memory Studio. Neither map tool is required for WatchFolder. They share capabilities and concepts but are separate tools.

A. Manual / low-volume workflow: one map at a time

Seller receives an order → enters location/date → generates map → downloads map → opens template → places map → exports.

1. Read the order — customer name, date/time, location or address, SKU/options.
2. Generate the map once — star chart or city map for that single order.
3. Place it manually — open your Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva template, position the map, add names and dates.
4. Export — print-ready PDF/PNG for that order.

Orders arrive → WatchFolder extracts order data → generates the required map → routes the correct template → inserts personalization → exports production-ready file.

1. Drop Amazon Custom ZIPs in a monitored folder — names, dates, locations, photos, options and SKU extracted automatically.
2. Map generation inside the workflow — WatchFolder can generate personalized star maps and city/location maps as part of your order automation, per order.
3. SKU/template routing — the correct Photoshop or Illustrator template opens automatically, including variants.
4. Personalization applied — customer names/text with auto-fit, customer photos, options, QR codes, barcodes, map artwork placed at print resolution.
