High volume: "I receive hundreds of personalized orders and need the entire process automated." → WatchFolder.

Map Memory Studio is the quick city/location-map creation tool for individual maps. WatchFolder is the high-volume production automation layer. They are separate tools — WatchFolder does not require Map Memory Studio.

How WatchFolder automates Amazon Custom city map orders

Example automated workflow:

1. Amazon Custom order — address/city/location, names, options, SKU and quantities extracted from order files.
2. Map generated using the configured mapping workflow — city/street/location map rendered for that order's location and style.
3. PSD/AI template populated — correct Photoshop or Illustrator template routed by SKU; map placed and cropped to your layout.
4. Personalization added — names, dates, labels and messages with auto-fit rules.
5. Production file exported — print-ready PDF/PNG/JPG named and organized by order ID, ready for production.

For Mapbox workflows: the automation can use the seller's own Mapbox API key/token. Map generation can be incorporated into a custom automation and, for Mapbox-based workflows, the customer's own API credentials/token can be used where applicable. We do not claim Mapbox is always required and not every map workflow uses Mapbox — and we never expose or request actual tokens on this website.
